1.3-mile loop flat dirt trail along meadow and through forest near Mount Rose Summit. The hike provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors for all hiking levels. Along the trail are opportunities to observe eight art in nature installations as well as enjoy views of the area. The elevation is 8,740 feet as the path winds along the edges of meadows and crosses small creeks, in places a boardwalks cross particularly wet or fragile meadow area.

1. Out in the woods cell service is weak to non-existent. Please leave cell phone turned off while hiking
2. Sorry no pets on the art hikes, if service animal is needed please call Trails & Vistas director, Nancy Lopez, for special art hike and approval.  530-448-3440
3. Sorry no photography while on the art hike. 

WEATHER / COVID POLICY: If the art hikes are closed or subject to government-enforced closures, ticket holders will receive an art hike credit for the amount of your purchase for use within three years.

This is a mountain trail with variable year-round weather, including the possibility of smoke, rain, and snow. Wear hiking shoes, and bring filled up water bottle.
