A complimentary shuttle ride will take you from Lower Parking Lot of Diamond Peak Ski Resort to the trailhead and back. The parking is across the street from Big Water Grille, Incline Village.
1.3-mile loop flat dirt trail along meadow and through forest near Mount Rose Summit. The hike provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors for all hiking levels. Along the trail are opportunities to observe eight art in nature installations as well as enjoy views of the area. The elevation is 8,740 feet as the path winds along the edges of meadows and crosses small creeks, in places a boardwalks cross particularly wet or fragile meadow area.
