In the heart of the Martis Valley, Waddle Ranch Preserve, this guided tour takes guests through magnificent forests to Lake Ella where guests can hike, enjoy birding and a peaceful setting as an en plein air painter captures the scenery. Lead by KV Van Lom with the Truckee Donner Land Trust. Cultural Land Tours are a new collaboration with Trails & Vistas and the Land Trust for extraordinary adventures combining art, history, and the environment. Limited space of 18 hikers.
Parking at the Truckee Airport, 8:30 am and carpooling to the hiking site. Bring sunscreen, hat, sack lunch and wear hiking shoes. 1/2 day adventure, 8:30 am (hiking, bird watching, from 9:00 to 1:00)
