SPECIALTY HIKES
Family Hikes for hiking with children. If you are hiking with children, please buy tickets for one of our Family Hikes on Saturday or Sunday at 10:00 &10:15 am.
Meditative Hikes for ADULTS ONLY for a quite meditation experience at 11:00 & 11:15 both days.
Leisure Hikes for people needing a slower pace due to high elevation hiking at 12:00 & 12:15 both days. Hikers need to be able to hike up to three hours at high elevation.
LOCATION
The art hikes begin at Spooner Lake Nevada State Park near the intersection of U.S. Route 50 and Nevada State Route 28. Enter the parking area and follow the signs.
From Truckee: Take Hwy 267 towards Lake Tahoe and turn left onto N. Lake Blvd. Continue onto Nevada State Route 28. At traffic circle continue straight onto Tahoe Blvd. Spooner Lake parking will be on your left.
From Reno: Take either U.S. 395 or S. Virginia Street to the Mt. Rose Highway (Nevada 431) and follow the signs to Lake Tahoe and Incline Village. When you reach Nevada 28, turn left toward Incline Village then continue south on Nevada 28 to the parking area at Spooner Lake.
